Tucker Barnhart is one of the most popular and richest Baseball Catcher who was born on January 7, 1991 in Indianapolis, Indiana, United States. Tucker Jackson Barnhart (born January 7 1991) is an American professional baseball catcher who plays for the Cincinnati Reds of Major League Baseball (MLB). Barnhart was the first player to make his MLB debut in 2014 and was awarded the Gold Glove Award in 2017.
Barnhart was added to the Reds’ roster on November 20, 2013. Reds have added Barnhart the 40-man list on 20 November 2013. Due to Devin Mesoraco beginning the 2014 season on the disabled list, Barnhart made the Reds 2014 Opening Day roster, as an alternate for Brayan Pena. Barnhart made his debut in the major leagues in April 3, in a game against the St. Louis Cardinals. Beginning as the position of catcher (with Homer Bailey the starting pitcher) and playing eighth, he was for 0-for-4 and one strikeout. The next day Barnhart got his first major-league hit with one against New York Mets pitcher Dillon Gee In that game Barnhart hit 2-for-4.
Due to injuries to Mesoraco, Barnhart started 67 games at catcher for the Reds in 2015 and 108 games in 2016. On September 22, 2017, Barnhart signed a four-year contract extension with the Reds, worth $16 million, plus a $7.5 million club option for the 2022 season. He led National League catchers in wins above replacement and caught stealing percentage. He also led the major leagues in runner caught stealing (32). After the 2017 season, he won the Rawlings Gold Glove Award.
In June 2019, he suffered a moderate abdominal and oblique strain, and was placed on the injured list. In late August 2019, he gave up switch hitting and became a left-handed hitter.
In 2010 Barnhart was part of Barnhart’s team, the Billings Mustangs of the Rookie-level Pioneer League. In 2011, Barnhart played in the Dayton Dragons of the Class A Midwest League. The 2012 season was spent playing for the Bakersfield Blaze of the Class A-Advanced League of California and the Pensacola Blue Wahoos of the Class AA Southern League. He was a part of Pensacola in 2013 and was named as a Southern League All-Star.

Barnhart was born in Indianapolis Barnhart was being the child of Kevin Barnhart and Pam Barnhart, and brother to Paige.
