She made a brief acting career, appearing on New York Stories (1989), The Cutting Edge (1992) and the TV film Beauty and the Beast: A Concert on Ice (1996).
Between 1976 and 1983, Starbuck was married to Pittsburgh Steelers and Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback Terry Bradshaw. Bradshaw’s second spouse was Starbuck. In the same time, she was a well-known persona of the Cup of Noodles, introducing millions of Americans for the first time to Ramen.

Starbuck was born within Downey, California. She first met Shelley for a performance in 1959, back when they were both young children. They began their working with the Coach John Nicks at the Arctic Blades FSC in the year 1961. The first year they competed in senior competitions, they were 16 they were able to participate in the 1968 Winter Olympics. The two Starbuck and Shelley were students at Downey High School, where they competed in off-ice lifts as part of the cheerleaders and Long Beach State College.
Similar to Shelley, Starbuck was a skilled singles skater. While Shelley was able to take home an overall national championship in the singles and pair competition in 1972 Starbuck was a retired singles competitor in the year 1968. After becoming professional, Starbuck made occasional appearances skating solo, in addition to continuing to skate in pairs with Shelley. She was in a pair with John Curry in the “Tango Tango” track from his television show Ice Dancing.
