Jerry Hardin - Age, Family, Bio

Actor best known for his role as Deep Throat on The X-Files. By the early 1990s, he had appeared in over 100 shows. He had roles on The Golden Girls, Star Trek: Voyager and Family Ties. His movie appearances include The Firm, Cujo and Blaze. 

Before Fame

He attended Southwestern University. He later studied acting at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He performed with regional theater troupes for 12 years.

Family Life

He was born in Dallas, Texas. His father was a rancher. In 1959, he married Diane Hardin, who was an acting coach. The couple raised two children, one of whom is Melora Hardin. His son, Shawn Hardin, worked for NBC Television as an executive.
